| I have the aforementioned router (TEW-432BRP), and a matching wireless adaptor (TEW-423PI). A client has inquired about the security status of my wireless network (XP rigs), and I couldn't really confirm that it's secure. Should I be seeing some security switch set to "ON" somewhere in the configuration, because I can only assume it's on by default? |

| I'm not familiar with the model, but I doubt that any serious security levels are sety by default. What does your manual say? You should be able to access the security settings somewhere on the router's configuration page, but if you only want to verify that security is on, you can probably do it in the connection properties (right-click, look for something saying "security-enabled wireless connection" or the like) |
