| I dont know about any common way, because I prefer Firefox more than any other Internet Browser. Maybe there is, but instead of that we will discuss about Firefox. You can access Mozillas additional settings by typing about:config inside the address bar. There you can set some things regarding performance and security. But, the most vulnerable places are JavaScript and ActiveX content. Those kind of codes are just acting like some source of magnet for the imposters. Every browser has settings for these so after you have configured your antivirus and firewall, you can try to play with the cookie permissions, Java settings and ActiveX content over the web. Oh, and no matter how much strong defense you have, always avoid porno sites. |
