| I need some help with my scanner, which I bought on eBay. I downloaded the latest version of drivers from the manufacturer site. I have Microsoft XP installed on my machine for a long time and everything else works fine. However, after I installed downloaded drivers my scanner is not working. What is the problem? Also, what software can I use to scan documents for editing? |

| There are many reasons that can cause your problem with scanner. Of course, there is a possibility that it is damaged, but to be sure, you should explore all the other options. Your problem may be a result of an error in the process of downloading and your drivers might be damaged. You should try to download it once again and try to install it one more time. Also, there is a possibility that you do not have a proper version of Windows installed on your machine. Your version of drivers could be for some other version of operating system. In that case, you have to find and download a proper version for Windows XP. Third reason for your problem could be that your update may need some service pack or special add-ons. If that is your problem, you need to find out what are those things, download and install them. The best software for editing scan documents is Acrobat Phine Reader. |
