| I need some help with Outlook Express update. I downloaded the file from the Internet. I have Microsoft Windows XP installed on my computer for a long time and everything works fine until now. However, when I try to open downloaded file and install it I get an error message. I was unable to properly install it and now I cannot open some attached saving PowerPoint slides in bitmaps in OE. Can anybody help me? |

| There are several reasons that could cause problem like yours. First, it could be an error in the process of downloading and your file might be damaged. You could try to download it one more time and than try to open it again. Second, you might not have a proper version of Outlook installed on your computer. Your version of update could be for some other version of Outlook Express. In that case, you have to find and download a proper update for your version. Third reason for your problem could be that your program may need some service pack or add-ons. If that is your problem, you need to find out what are those things, download and install them. Anyway, I do not think that your problem have anything with that update. Either you do not have any program attach with those files which is more possible, or your security level does not let you open those attachments. I do not think that you have that other problem because you are trying to open pictures and those types of files should not be infected. |
