Hey, I just installed XP on my new Laptop, (don't ask why), I have now a XP SP2 with no sound at all, I've seen so many posts here and there, saying that they had Video problems, but nothing 'bout the sound, so I don't get it....

I don't have the recovery CD, so I've downloaded all the drivers directly from the Toshiba site, everything is fine, but the sound.....

I once tried to install it, and it returned an error message that said something about the windows bus driver being installed first or something, and I instaled a "patch" to fix that, and then, the program installed the drivers, but Idon't see it at all in the hardware manager, I tried to install it manually, and all I got is the dead-blue-screen, and it restarted....

It uses a Realtek high definition audio, and I even installed it from the Realtek site

I'm clueless, I don't know what to do, should I format it again? and install one by one without patching anything?
