| Hello! I have Samsung dvd/cd writer combo drive. This drive gave me my cousin. From the start, it is broken namely, it has never written dvds, but since few days ago it stopped to write cds, too. Please, tell me what has broken in it. Can I fix that on my own? Will I need to buy new drive? Thank you! |

| Hello! I have to tell you that your drive cannot burn dvds. It can read both, dvds and cds, but it is able to write only cds. But, I can tell you that you are right regarding suspect that it has been broken, because it wont write cds anymore. You need to change its burning lasers and I think that you cannot do on your own. Take it to repair shop and they will fix it for you. |
