| My Laptop is being upgraded with additional 128 mb of ram. Now it has 256. I did it because I wanted to use windows Xp on it. Windows Millennium was the default OS. Now, I want to recover Millennium back. How do I do it? Just because my computer suffers extreme slow downs, and I dont have a clue why. I just know that Win ME is a lot more easier for computer to handle. Thanks. |

| Did you upgraded Windows Millennium or you have just formatted the drive and performed the clean install of Windows XP? I am asking because 256 mb of ram is just enough for XP to work properly, and you were mentioning some slow downs. Ok, than. You want to get back on Millennium with the factory recovery utility or you want to install Millennium from a scratch? It is a lot more easier for you to put a Recovery disc inside and just follow the instructions as displayed. But first copy all of your important data to a secondary partition, no matter if you want to format the drive before clean install and DOS based floppy operations or easy step by step recovery procedure. |
