I have reinstalled windows for the first time. Everything went, more or less, smoothly but I keep getting messages that SM Bus controller is not working properly. Besides, games keep crashing and I am sure they have to work fine because my computer meets requirements and they worked on previous installation.

Hi. I guess you have motherboard with NVIDIA chipset. All you have to do is to install drivers. You can do that from CD which came with your motherboard. If you have lost that CD you can go to NVIDIA web site and download latest drivers for you chipset. Nevertheless, this is better option because drivers that came with your motherboard are probably outdated.
