I got his smart failure prediction message. What does it mean to have Smart prediction? My blue screen of that is actually active at a moment, it happens few times a day. It says that I no longer have a hard disk SATA capability. How to avoid this in the future? I mean I could reinstall my OS easily but that is not the solution. I dont want to replace my hard drive!

Go into the BIOS menu and turn off the smart capability. You wont be able to use some features. You will need to go into the recovery console afterwards. To do this you must click on the delete button on your keyboard. Its not always this del key but in most cases it is. Then, just disable the smart capability. I have to disagree with some people about SMART reinstallation because it is a common view. In many PC systems SMART will 100 accurately identify a potential HDD failure. If you have a Compaq PC and youre getting this message, contact your vendor immediately and demand a new device. I had the same problem and I managed to get a new hard drive from DELL. What about your window registry. Been there?
