I have Compaq computer with SCSI CD-ROM device. Unfortunately, something is messed up in Windows XP and it does not recognize my SCSI CD-ROM any more. As far as I can tell (from device manager) SCSI controller works and it is listed in device manager. I would be very grateful if you could give me some advice about this problem.

Hello. You will have to check if your CD-ROM is still working. If you have access to some other computer with SCSI controller then attach this CD-ROM on that computer and see what will happen. If it works there then I can suggest you to uninstall SCSI controller and install drivers again. I hope that some of these tips will help you to fix your problem with SCSI CD-ROM.
