| Hello. I am using Microsoft Word for a long time already and I was never experienced with the programs failure in any way. But during the past few days, my word page suddenly crashes without any reason, and shows some kind of Runtime error message on my screen. I am used on to save my progress very often, so I just close the window down and that’s it. I am used on to save my progress very often, so I just close the window down and that’s it. After that when I fire the word up everything is normal. What is the cause? Thanks in advance. |

| The cause may be because of very large number of add-ons installed in your version of MS Word. Some of them may contain pretty harmful piece of code. Actually the add-ins, that do not come together with the installation of the complete office package or just MS Word individually. Here is what you can try. Add a switch to the startup command from the shortcut’s properties. Add “ /a” without the quotes, and none of these plug-ins will be loaded. Only default ones. You’ll know is the PC infected or not. |
