Run Command Not Appearing In The Start Menu

I have little difficulties with my computer. When I went to the Start men I couldnt find command run. I am very afraid. Why is that? Do I caught some kind of virus? Why isnt Run command appearing on The Start Menu?! I dont know much about computers so pleas help. Any suggestion, advice is welcomed.

Computers can be really wild animals. But very often then can be tamed with little operation. I had the same problem 2 months ago. And I was very angry on my computer. I tried some things. I was very patient and I have found the problem. Run command was off. Then I remembered that my kid was playing with computer. He touched things he shouldnt touch. I will tell you now where to go. You should go to Taskbar and Start menu properties. Then you go to Customize start menu. There see if run command is checked. If it isnt check it, and if it is, I really dont know what the problem is.
