Hello. I have received the new ADSL router for my broadband connection. I have subscribed for the static IP addressing. Now, my ISP has given me the TCP/IP address for use, and it is up to me to do the next. But, I really dont know how to set these things up, so I am asking anybody experienced to help me on with this. Thanks in advance.

Greetings. Open your control panel. Than go to the network connections. Inside the network connections folder, right click on the desired connection and click properties. Under first, general tab choose the properties for TCP/IP protocol, and you will see the boxes for IP address number. Enter them there, and for a few seconds after, your computer is prepared for surfing.
