| There are several possible reasons for your problem. I do not think that you have a problem with your Linksys router. You either have a problem with your network card or with level of wireless signal. First, check the drivers for your LAN card in your Control panel. Then check the intensity of your signal and if it is low try to move your notebook on some other locations inside the house to see can you get a better signal. Try to call your Internet provider and see doesn't they, maybe, have some temporary problems. They also must have experience so do not hesitate to ask them for help. If nothing of that helps, you will have to ask for some professional help. Wireless connection is as much safe as classic wired connection. At last, of course there are many model of router with USB Wan connection. Just try to replace your old one with some new with that connection. |
