Hello. I'm having problems with my LinkSys router. I've had it for over a year now, and it always worked OK. However, recently I had it detached so that I could take my desktop in for repair (not network-related). When I plugged it back in, exactly the way it was before, it wouldn't work right. Gets a connection only about 50% of the times I try, and then frequently disconnects. I have no idea what could've caused this, so I'd be grateful for any suggestions you might have.

Well, some older routers sometimes complain about the order the hardware is powered up. For example, I had a gateway that wouldn't work at all if I turned it on before I turn on the computer. Go figure. Your case might be a similar one – try powering everything down, then starting up the router, waiting for all the activity to be over, and then start up the box itself. If that doesn't work, try it the other way round.
