Router connection question

Hello! I have bought Linksys router, because I want to connect my two computers. I have cable modem, too. Can you tell me what I need to do to connect router properly and make network, because I have never done this in my life before. I hope this won’t be a problem for you. Thank you in advance!

Hello! First you will needs to connect your computers to router and then your router to cable modem; after this turn on one of your computers and open browser and type 192.168.1.1 in address bar to access router settings. There configure settings and you will get working network. As you can see it is not complicate.
