Hello! I have Linksys cable modem. This modem is in same time router, too. Now, I want to ask you something regarding this: router can be set as firewall. So, is this means that I do not need any software firewall? If this is correct, then I will be the happiest person on whole world. Thank you in advance!

Hello! It is correct that router is firewall, too; because you can close all opened unused ports on it, but it cannot change software firewall. So, if you set router as firewall, you will need to install software firewall, too and your system will be really well protected. I have router firewall and software firewall and I can tell you that I have not problems at all.
