Hello. I made stupid mistake with the BIOS. I tried to update to the newer version, but after that everything is ok, except hard drive recognition. CD drive is there, floppy drive is detected, everything is ok, temperature, CPU settings but there is no hard drive, and I didn’t touched the hard drive at all. Now, I am about to revert the old BIOS over the newer one. How to do that? Is that risky? Thanks in advance.

Hi. I guess that you updated the BIOS with some online method without using floppy drive, right? Because there is no other way to flash the BIOS with the older one, with exact the same method. Insert the formatted floppy disk into the drive, paste the BIOS image on the disk and press ALT+F2 while BIOS post screen is present. Than just type the name. For example “BIOS.bin”. At least I did like this every time so far, and I had no problems. There is a risk of power loss in that very moment of BIOS flashing. That could destroy your configuration.
