I have a minor but boring problem in Microsoft Word. I usually drop some pictures in Word Documents, sometimes more at a single page, and when I need to rearrange and resize it I can’t always do what I want. It is not easy to move picture aside another one, especially if you want to change its proportions. Any idea how to do this in some more elegant manner?

I have similar problems. I can not always do the magic and get exact arrangement of photos on a single page, but there is one tip to make you life easier. This is very simple. While dragging a picture in order to resize or move, e.g. by holding it for a corner, keep holding down Alt key. By holding down Alt key you make Work to temporarily disable default snap greed which makes it easier to make whatever move you want more precisely.
