Hi there. Until today I was very able to browse any page with IE. Now, I receive the the page cannot be displayed message over and over again. Not even Google. Suggestion below to reset network settings in a link form appears, and it does nothing. Should I do that (and how) anyway? Is this gong to help, if I reset the Network settings? Thanks in advance.

Hello. This seems like old and very known winsock problem. You can try with the WinSock XP Fix tool. You can try to do certain things manually if you have Service Pack 2 installed. First type netsh winsock show catalog, than you can try fixing it or resetting the Winsock table to the default configuration, which requires a reboot. The command goes like this : netsh winsock reset catalog. Try.
