Hello! I have Sony Vaio and a problem with it. I have DVD burner in this laptop which is broken and needs replacement. But, I do not know can I replace it on my own or it can be replaced at all. I am not too familiar with hardware field and I hope you will help me with this. I am thanking you in advance!

Hello! You can replace DVD burner on your own, but you need to be very cautious with this process. First of all, I suggest you to call Sony technical support and to order new DVD burner from them. When you get it, you will need to open very cautious laptop and to replace DVD burner. Hope this helps you!
