Removing laptop bios password

Hello! I need too remove my laptop BIOS password as soon as possible. I’ve heard that this thing can get a little tricky. I don’t have a clue on how it’s done. I remember that on a desktop machine you do it by resetting the battery and that’s not such a big deal. Can this be done with laptops too? Any information would be really appreciated!

I’m not sure about this but you should try this: find the laptop battery, cut a small wire there and strip the ends. Then let the positive and negative touch for a bit of time and that the BIOS should be reset. If you’re not comfortable with doing this, you should just probably contact the manufacturer and ask them about this. Some models cannot be reset like this for sure because they’re trying to prevent thefts. Why do you need it so urgently anyway?
