Let me guess. You do not use Word 2003. I know since when you copy text in Word 2003, when pasting, you automatically get the option to choose whether to keep source formatting or to match destination or paste text only. Now here is the help I think will work whatever you use. When you select the text you want to copy, first press Ctrl+Shift+N combination at keyboard. What this does is backing selected portion of text back to Normal formatting, whatever it was previously. This way you removed formatting. Now, cut, copy, delete, whatever you like…
