Removal of Instant Messenger problem

Hello! I have installed some instant messenger on my Windows XP Professional operating system (service pack 2 is installed) and I was not satisfied with it. I have tried to remove it from Add and Remove Programs (ands I did0, but whenever I start computer I am getting message that update for this removed messenger is available.

Hello! Well, it seems to me that you have not removed it completely. You did not tell me which instant messenger you installed. Never mind, I will tell you what you need to do: download from the internet some removal tool and remove with it left parts of this instant messenger. Let me know how that went.
