Recommendations for FTP program

I have to use FTP servers often for my work and I find that using web browser for this task is not an optimal solution. I am new in this and I have not used FTP servers before so I would really appreciate if you could tell me several good FTP programs that will help me with my work. Thank you in advance.

There are many FTP programs on market and most of them have really similar capabilities. My personal favorite is FlashXP. It has no special features. I have just got used to it. You can save the list of FTP sites you are visiting together with usernames, passwords and ports so you can connect to them with one click. It provides resuming download capability and other standard things.
