I would need a GPS device, but I am really not sure which one to buy as I have never used anything similar before. I would need it for marking spots I need later on for returning to them. For example, I would need it while walking in the woods, hiking and for similar activities. Any kind of suggestion would be really helpful. Thanks in advance.

GPS devices have become increasingly popular in recent years. They have been used for many purposes, most commonly, of course, in cars and satellite positioning. However, more and more people are using it and there are really good brands you would find helpful. I suggest you buy Magellan GPS unit, as it is especially designed for hikers and has many in-built functions and options that can really help you and make you much more comfortable during your hikes. TomTom is a very nice option too, especially GO 700 version. Best of luck.
