XP-Home. I shut off my computer every evening. For the last 5 or 6 evenings there has been a Windows update on shutting off (except for this evening). This morning I noticed that I no longer was offered a button to click to load my personal settings. First time this has happend in the 6 months I've had the computer. It went straight to desktop. Same thing turning computer back on this evening. Does anyone know anything about this? Does it mean a reduction in security? Should I be worried about it?
