Hi every1, here's the deal: Im trying to install a dual RAID array on a system I'm bilding from scrach (tacking it on a K8WE MoBo) and it doesnt work. I cant get it recognised by the system, and a guy tells me its coz RAIDs arent compatible with Win XP (which is what the rig is running). But if this is true, how come I dont get booted when the OS loads but before, coz setup dosnt see the array? Whose got it right, then? TIA!

If I understand correctly, you're asking whether or not a RAID array can be set up on a Windows XP platform? The answer is yes, it can. Now, though I'm not familiar with your motherboard model, I suspect its BIOS may either be outdated, or have RAID support disabled. If you update it, you should have no problems attaching the array to it… none that are BIOS-related, at least, and compatibility with XP shouldn't be an issue at all.
