I have some serious issues with QuickTime. When I play movies from hard drive I have no problems but when I try to play movie on the web I can get no audio. I have tried form Internet Explorer 6 and Firefox 2 but the result is the same. I can see picture but can not hear any sound. Do you know what the problem here is and how to solve it?

I have heard about similar issues that started to occur when people upgraded QuickTime player and iTunes. They were also experiencing lack of sound on the web. You can try to update plug-ins for internet browsers and see if that will help somehow. Reinstalling old version can be an option, also. Unfortunately, I was not able to find any tested and approved solution for this issue.
