| Is there a way to tweak my registry entries in Vista? Like speeding up my IE, or changing my start menu structure. Can any one suggest me how to tweak my registry, without having to write codes? I have an Athlon 3200 with 1 Gb Ram and 400 Gb hard drive. Vista version is a Rc1, and I m using cable internet. I wonder can I affect my cable speed in registry editor. Thanks! |

| Yes, Internet Explorer can work faster. You should mass up with tour cable because you provider could ban you. In order to tweak IE 7, you can delete cookies history, and temp files. Have you cleaned your chace recently? Its good idea to do that from time to time because it can lower you surf speed. In registry editor you can change title bar text. By default, when you right click on some folder, you will see a context menu. Go to the regedit and find context menu feature. Type different values, and see what will happen. Start button is one of those things that you can change without regedit. Just go to the windows folder and find start menu icon. Open it, delete everything and insert your values. Default menu speed can be adjusted as well, you just have to find that feature in regedit, because I cant remember it myself. |
