Hello! I have heard that there are public IP addresses. Can you explain me this a little more? I have asked a friend of mine how I can get public IP, but he told me that does not depends of me, but of my internet service provider. I have cable internet, but none informed me that I have public IP. How I can search for it?

Hello! You actually have public IP address. That is address which you got from your internet service provider. You can have static or dynamic public IP address. This IP address can be visible on all web sites. Still, there are some tools which allow you to hide this IP address (but I do not recommend them).
