When I bought a new PC last month, I also bought a new Samsung 793DF monitor with it. From the beginning, I was experiencing some problems with that monitor. It does not have a sharp picture on its display. When I call the store and ask them what to do, they told me a couple of things like do a degauss. I don't know what to do. Should I maybe return it to them?

There are couple of possibilities that could cause your problem. First of all, degaussing could be done from the monitor built-in menu. If it won't help you after the first usage, you should not try it more because it could damage your monitor. There are also other things that you could try. First, you should try to see the picture on some other Samsung 793DF monitor. Maybe that is its normal picture. Next thing, you should try is to move your speakers further from the monitor. If that won't help, try to reinstall your graphic card drivers. Also, try to check the picture on your monitor in different resolutions. At last, try to check your monitor on some other PC. If nothing of that helps you, it is most probably faulty and you should take it back to the store where you bought it.
