I need some help with Qbasic program. I have a kid and I’ve bought him a PC. Since he shows a great interest for it, I’d like him to learn useful things instead of using it only for games and Internet. So, how about teaching him something about Qbasic programming? Is there a certain course that is adapted for children’s age?

That’s a great idea! I’m also completely against using PC only for games and other things that aren’t useful. It’s actually the best idea to acquaint kids with other uses of PC and teach them to realize their importance. I know that there are courses that are simplified and thus appropriate for kids. I even suggest you to learn some basic things about this program and teach your kid yourself. And when he learns the basics and is ready to move on, you can see enroll him at a school for computers. This program is not that difficult and if you are willing to help your kid. I also know that there is a rule that kid can start learning Qbasic when they’re 10-11.
