Protecting IP in Win 98/ME?

Hello! I am running Windows 98 and my friend Windows ME operating system. We have noticed that some web sites are capturing ours IP addresses and we are wondering now if there is any way for protecting ours IP addresses. If you know more about this, let us know. We will appreciate any help. Thank you in advance!

Hello! Well, I agree with you that capturing IP addresses on some web sites are impropriate. The easiest solution is recommendation to not visit those web sites. There is possibility with using some programs, but I can tell you that it is too complicate. Still you can find very nice manuals which comes with these programs and hide and protect your IP addresses.
