Programs you do not need on XP

I just wonder what programs you do not need on XP. I have found some annoying programs that I am, almost, forced to use because they come with XP or because they present some kind of standard in their fields. I would really like to hear from you what programs you should avoid if you could.

I really miss possibility to buy Windows XP without Internet Explorer and windows Media Player. I think that Internet Explorer is worst browser currently on market and that it has smallest number of features compared to Opera and Firefox. Windows Media Player, on the other hand, is quit good but I hate media players that use resources like average game and are overall bloated.
