| Hello there. I have pulled out my first very old PC from the basement. It is Compaq Presario 5420. As I can remember it’s processor has gone to heaven, and that’s why I have putted the PC there. It seems that other parts are still alive and operational, but I am not quite sure yet. Anyway, I would like to see this machine working again. And I would like to know what processor class fits into this machine? Thanks in advance. |

| Hello. If I am informed well, the model of which you are speaking is/was using the 400 megahertz Athlon processor. Or otherwise, K-6 architecture. So, if you are able to find something like that, why not. It won’t be easy task at all, but it worth of trying. At least you can browse the internet and read email with that one. Maybe even play Diablo II. |
