Problems with burning DVDs

Hello! I have bought NEC dvd burner. I use nero burning program. But, since I have installed dvd burner (and I have installed it properly, believe it or not), I am not able to burn dvds. On the other hand I am able to burn cds without any problem. When I try to burn some dvd, nero just freeze. I have never had error like this, so I do not know how to fix it. Help!

Try to find the newest update for nero. Also, you can try to burn it on lower speed; try some other media brands; disable any virtual drive if you have it; try to install an aspi layer; also, you can try just before burning dvd to open task manager and shut all the unnecessary processes. I hope that something form these suggestions will solve your problem.
