Hello. I did complete new and clean installation of Windows 98 on my computer. I am using HP SCSI card needed for scanner to operate properly. I have installed the SCSI card again just as I did last time, before the Windows was installed, and I had no problems. The scanner just worked well. Now I don’t know what to do . I have plugged the SCSI card properly, the scanner is showed under other devices from inside the device manager, but there is no C5110A, which should be there. It won’t work. What should I do? What I maybe forgot to do? Thanks in advance.

Well, hello. It seems like you have missed ASPI installation. Or the Windows 98 version you are using doesn’t have ASPI installed. You can download ASPI drivers from the Adaptec Web site. Try the following: Remove all things regarding scanner software and SCSI drivers. Shut your PC and install the SCSI card again. Install the drivers for the SCSI card, reboot. Then install the TWAIN program or scanner software. Reboot again. This should do if you completed with the ASPI before this.
