I have problems opening files in Office XP pro. I have a bunch of PDF documents which I want to edit and some Jpeg pictures I want to add to the text. Maybe it is easier with some other program and but I am only accustomed to Microsoft Office. Problem is that I can not open PDF files and this Jpegs in Word XP. I was able to open them in Office 2000 that was installed on my computer prior to system crash when I reinstalled windows and upgraded office. Can you tell me how to complete this task in Office XP?

You can not open PDF files in Word nor you can open Jpg pictures. Pictures can be imported by going to File-import menu and for PDF files to be accessible to word you will have to purchase Adobe Acrobat. I guess that you have installed Adobe Acrobat Reader on your system which is just a reader. It does not allow editing PDF files.
