| Can this even be done? I have the Win XP Home edition installed here, and a bunch of old 16 bit utilities and other application that I need to set up for my sister to use, but I don't know how. Short of doing a dual boot, is there anything to be done here? |

| Sure, you could edit the properties for the exe file and set the compatiliblity mode to run it as Windows 95 or 98 would run it. To do this, right-click the exe, choose "Properties", and go to the "Compatibility" tab. There you should see an option named "run this program in compatibility mode for…" Check that box, and choose an option that works for you from the drop-down menu. |
