Hey, any help would be muchly appreciated.
I had to reboot my computer completly today having issues with a driver not working and since then, there has been an issue with my keyboard.
I have a dell inspiron 2200, and the keyboard is the one that is in the laptop itself, so its not a USB one or anything. The issue is that the symbols (like the pound sign and the email at sign) are messed up.
The pound sign usually appears when you press shift+3, but now instead i get a hash, and the hash gives my a \ sign, whereas the speechmarks (usually above the number 2) and the email-at sign have switched around.
There are a few other, such as the little squiggle line being usually above the symbol just left of the number 1 at the top of the board. Also where it would usually appear gives me a | instead.
I'm in the UK, and my computer is set to a UK language, so I'm really stumped.
Any light on the situation would be great!
Thanks! |
