| I bought a new HP printer yesterday. However, I don't know how to install it. I tried to install it couple of times, but it simply won't work. I don't know what to do. I returned it to the store but they told me that there is nothing wrong with it. I really need to print some stuff, so I would appreciate any help very much. |

| If the employee in the store checks your printer and told you that it is OK then the problem is probably in your PC or with your USB cable. First, try to replace USB cable and install your HP printer again. Also, try to install it with the shorter USB cable or try to change USB port. Check did your USB's port are enabled in BIOS. If that fails, you could try other things. There are some USB printers that must be plugged only when the installation procedure ask that. If you plug them earlier, they will not work. Check do you have proper driver installation for your version of operating system. If nothing of this helps you, you would probably need to reinstall your operating system from the beginning. |
