Problem with converting .avi to .mpg

Hello! I have some .avi short movies which I want to convert them to VCD because I want to splay them on my home DVD player. I have tried to convert them using Nero, but Nero allows me to burn only file per blank DVD media and I want to burn two or three files per blank DVD media. Can you tell me what I need to do to make this possible? I am thanking you in advance on your prompt reply.

Hello! I think that you need to use some other converter. I suggest you to try WinAvi or TMPGEnc converter. With one of these convert first your AVI files to VCD. When you do that use Nero to burn them on blank DVD. You will see that Nero now will allow you to burn as many as you want VCD files per blank DVD media.
