Hello. I have a problem with Windows Live Messenger. I can not share files with this program. When ever I try to receive file from my friend or I try top send file I receive following error:” You have chosen to transfer a file which may be unsafe”, or” This file was blocked because this file type can't be shared”. I really do not know what the problem is because I can share these files with Skype. Can you help me with this problem?

Hello. Windows Live Messenger does not allow sharing potentially dangerous files. These are all files with .exe, .bat, .scr, .html, .htm etc extensions. These files can hold malicious software like viruses or spyware. To send files like these you will have to use WInRAR or WinZip to create an archive first and then send archived files with Windows Live Messenger.
