Help! I have no sound from my computer! I am sure that my sound card works properly, because I have tested it on my friends computer. Recently I have installed my windows XP OS and since then I have this problem. If you are able to provide me with any advice, I will be very thankful!

It could happen that your windows XP OS see your sound card, but it just does not recognize it. To be sure about this, go to device manager and see if it is new hardware found at all. If it is, then you will need to install driver for it. If you cannot find driver for it on internet, I suggest you to download driver for win 2000, because it should works properly on XP.
