Hello. I'm having trouble trying to install my new DSL USB router. The installation seems to go OK, but then it stops and prompts me for the drivers, I can't provide the ones it wants. I even tried searching through the install CD manually, for any archive containing the missing .dll, but no use. When I click "Ignore" the installation completes, but the Device Manager shows the yellow exclamation mark, troubleshooting is useless, and a driver update always asks for the same file – iprtrmgr.dll. Has anyone had a similar problem? How do I deal with this?

First thing that comes to mind – you may have a defective installation CD. Does the drive read it OK, no stutters and empty spinning? Even if it's undamaged, it's possible that it's just missing the drivers you need. You could mail the manufacturer and ask for a replacement CD. Otherwise, you could just search for the latest drivers on the Web, and install from there.
