Hello! I am running Windows XP Professional operating system and I have installed Service Pack 2 last week. Since this morning each time I boot Windows XP, only I can see is blank screen with cursor on it. What is going on here? I am running without idea and I really hope that you will know what the cause of this problem is. Thanks!

Hello! Well, I have had same problem and it is very unpleasant. This is happening because something hung up Service Pack 2 and computer cannot recover. So, next time when you boot system, click ctrl+alt+delete and Task Manager will appear; then click New Task tab and type appwiz.cpl. Then uninstall SP2 and reboot your computer, then install SP2 again and your problem will be solved.
