Printer problem in IE

I have been using the internet for last three years and everything worked fine. Since few months ago, I could not defend from viruses. I even reinstalled my XP few times but it did not help me for a long. After a day or two on the Internet and I have the same problems. Now I have a printer problem in IE. Are there any better and safer browsers than IE? Will Norton Internet Security may help me with my virus problems?

There are many other browsers beside the Internet explore. Many users think that they are even better and safer then the 'old' Explorer. I personally disagree because I am also spending much time on the Internet with Internet Explorer, and I do not have any problems. You just need some reliable anti-spyware protection like SpyBot, which is very efficient and free of charge. You also need some good anti-virus software. I personally use AVG and I am completely satisfied. If you have Windows XP, you will also need Service Pack 2 to be installed. I think that combination will be much more efficient than Norton Internet Security.
