It's basically all that happens. Any idea how to remedy this? The printer is a relatively new HP office jet K60, and I'm trying to print a page from the browser (Internet Explorer 7.x) I don't know if there's a problem with the printer itself or if it's the browser's settings that are messed up, but each time I try printing a page I only get html code. Thoughts, anyone?

That's just weird. Is it happening on all web pages, or just the one you've tried? Did you try doing a print preview to see what comes up? If it's source code, than it's probably the browser.

I am trying to find out what does this too. I am trying to fix an XP system with a HP deskjet 3650.

The printer prints everything fine except web pages. It prints perfect pictures from Internet explorer if you just open a jpg from a saved file on the computer, and document and text files work just fine. But when a page is printed from Internet Explorer it prints only the source code. I checed all the settings in IE and on the printer. I uninstalled the old printer drivers and installed the latest updates from HP.

I am not at that computer to easily check the settings. If I do find the problem elsewhere I will post it here so you can fix yours.

I forgot to add.

This happens on all web pages.

When a print preview is done, there are 20 to 70 pages to print. All in html source code.

I think this problem stems from a new broadband connection.

I was told that this problem did not start until after a Qwest Broadband install was done.

I remembered this after I saw the thread http://www.h-desk.com/viewtopic.php?t=10188&hpr=Printing_Problem

RESULT : You were getting all HTML codes in the printing

CAUSE : Shdocw.dll file was corrupted.

RESOLUTION : We register that file Shdocw.dll, by going Start- run and type regsvr32 Shdocw.dll
