Presario V3000 hangs after a while

| When I turn it on, it work OK for about 10 minutes, maybe up to half an hour. After that, it just hangs, completely irresponsive. I have to power it off manually, then when I restart it, the same thing happens. I have Windows XP Pro running on this laptop. Ideas? |

| Well, it could be overheating, that's a very common issue with some Presario models (though I don't know this one first hand, TBH). Do you feel it getting hot to the touch before it freezes? Either way, check the temperatures in BIOS and in-system (download some of the free temp checker apps online.) |
